A distinct preview of the Xbox UI was unveiled by Twitter user Gabor-117 showed a video from the early beta testing.

Needless to say, the new interface is a lot more intuitive than any Xbox interface that was before it. There are certain aspects of the interface that could still use work but it's a welcomed change.

“We know the Xbox homepage is where our gamers spend a lot of their time, and it’s a space that’s very personal,” said senior product manager lead for Xbox experiences Ivy Krislov. “We also know we can always be listening and learning how we can do better here while keeping your experience fast and familiar. The word on the street is that the console can now go from a cold boot in 15 seconds. That is impressive considering how long it can still take certain consoles to boot up.

It also goes to show that Microsoft is continuing an effort to merge the console into the future. A steaming like interface is what we will be faced with in the future.

Microsoft has continued to improve the interfaces of their console as time has gone on. The new interface is fairly smooth to use and gets you straight to the point.

The fact that you can change the wallpaper is another nice touch. Time will tell how the revised interface does with gamers. But from what I can see it looks pretty darn good.
