My Xbox Is Worthless, Now What?

Collecting video games has gone from a quiet hobby to a costly endeavor. Many of the consoles you once owned and got rid of are worth more than when they were brand new.

Scalpers are a major problem for this trend, and the increased visibility of YouTube channels dedicated to retro gaming hasn’t helped either. But there are a few bright spots in the retro market.

The Sega Game Gear is dirt cheap to collect for, and the original Xbox and Xbox 360 consoles are also dirt cheap right now. You can literally find hundreds of Xbox 360s on Facebook marketplace going for $20 to $60 bucks.

Sometimes you’ll get an impressive haul of games with it! I know it can be a bummer if you are trying to sell your console, but there has never been a better time to collect.

The Xbox 360 Still Plays Well

Games for the Xbox 360 are dirt cheap, even the hit titles! And the graphical capabilities of the console still look amazing today. Whether you are playing Forza Motorsport or Halo 3, the games were great.
