Robo Cop vs The Terminator — A Lost Gem From The 16-Bit Era
Replaying this classic is a must if you are exploring 16-bit gaming

Now that I have completed my SNES library, I have been looking back at some quirky titles from this era. One of these titles is Robo Cop vs Terminator, which is a surprisingly well appointed gem.
I was never a fan of side-scrolling run and gun games until recently. My go to was always the Metal Slug series but I decided to start branching out. I originally obtained my copy of Robo Cop vs The Terminator when I was eight years old.
I kept the game for a number of years because I enjoyed both of the movies. I never actually got into the gameplay, I just kept the game on my shelf for all these years. But I am glad I finally decided to play it, because this is a serious lost gem in the SNES library.

It should be noted that there was also a Genesis version of the game, which defers somewhat. I have that version in my Genesis collection. But its the SNES game that I have spent a week playing so far. The graphics are amazing for 1991, and the action is non-stop.
