Since When Did Editors Become Such D*ckheads?

I have had nothing but bad experiences with editors

If there is one thing that would never make me want to write again, it’s the word editor.

I don’t know what the fucking deal has been with editors lately. I know you have deadlines to meet, but damn!

I have been busting my behind to write for various publications for the last two years. Yet, I have been continually fired by editors who just had no patience.

Nevermind that the mistakes I made were minuscule at best, but I just wasn’t “cutting” the mustard.

I don’t believe the proper way to train new writers is by firing them before they have the proper training.

It also isn’t the way to build a reputation for quality content. I have come to realize that almost every mainstream content website is nothing more than a content mill.

The experiences I have had with editors have almost forced me to quit writing more than a few times. The rude feedback and lack of empathy for a writer who is trying was appalling.

I feel that most editors responsible for these content sites need to think about the writers' feelings for change.

Writing used to be considered art, and we are not just a number.

But nowadays they treat writers as people desperate for every penny, and that isn’t cool.
