I will be the first to admit that I am a sucker for retro-inspired mini-consoles. My collection has grown dramatically just over the past year alone and reignited my love for gaming.

Perhaps one of the most unusual mini-consoles that I have come across is the new breed of classic computer clones such as the C64 Mini. These systems bring back such nostalgia and with a little modding can deliver unlimited fun.

The A500 Mini: Retro Games Ltd.

Retro Games Ltd — the same people who brought us the C64 Mini and the C64 Maxi — have announced the Amiga A500 Mini. The system is a mini replica of the original A500 personal computer.

The A500 was a pioneering device when it came to PC gaming, and the fact that we are going to be able to revisit it is downright awesome. The C64 Mini was an awesome rendition and most of that tech is going into the A500 Mini.

So without further ado, let’s take a look at what could be a Christmas miracle for some enthusiasts.
