What Ever Happened To Sonic Crackers?
This unreleased Sega Genesis title has recently come to the light again

In the early 1990s, there was a resurgence in the video game industry. A new company called Sega had introduced some serious competition to Nintendo and Atari, which was still around at this point.
The Sega Genesis had a brief run as a major contender in the video game industry, but then Nintendo released the SNES, and Sony would follow suit with the PlayStation.
Sega had tried to be at the forefront of new technology, with many console add-ons for the Genesis. All these add-ons attached to the Genesis made it seem like a Frankenstein console more than anything.
First there was the Sega CD, and not long after that we got the 32X. The 32X was supposed to give the console 32-bit functionality and graphics. In reality, it was nothing more than an add-on chip.

The games weren’t that much different than a standard Genesis title. Sure, the colors were brighter and the sound was a little better, but that was about it. But in between all that, there was a new Sonic title on the horizon.
